I need your help. I'm entered in a photography contest and could use your votes and support. If you could, please had on over to http://www.theshotspot.com and create a free profile. Then, find http://www.theshotspot.com/profile/view/116 and view my contest submissions and vote for my photos in each category in the active contests. Supposedly, you are supposed to vote only once a day, but I've found many others are logging in and out and revoting over and over again. Do what you feel comfortable doing, but please, vote at least once a day and help me out.
Thank you all _________________ ~Cherokee

Right now I only have a photo in the kids contest. Its of the little girl holding a jar and the light reflecting off of it onto her face. Its number 4 right now I believe.
Thanks again _________________ ~Cherokee

I saw your Harrah's photo which won the architecture contest. My first thought was "with all the spectacular lights and architecture on the Las Vegas strip, how could a shot of Harrah's win a contest?"
Then I thought some more and realized that despite my having walked past Harrah's with a camera about 30 times, I've NEVER been able to capture an interesting shot of any part of it. You found an interesting angle the rest of us have overlooked. So it really is a remarkable photo. |

Thank you...
Yes, there are many remarkable things to photograph in Vegas. The trick was trying to find something that hadn't been photographed before, lol.
I didn't win the kids contest so now I'm concentrating on the black and white contest that opens today. My photo is a rose..... I could definitely use everyones help once again... _________________ ~Cherokee
